What we are, and what we are not

We are a booking guide. We are not the Château de Chambord, not the Domaine national de Chambord, not a ticketing authority and not the operator of any tour listed here. Every booking is made with the operator through the platform that lists it, and their terms govern it.

How we are paid

When you follow a booking link on this site and complete a booking, the platform pays us a commission out of its own margin. The traveller pays the same price either way. We are paid the same rate whichever product you choose, so there is no product on this site we earn more from than another.

Placement cannot be bought

No operator has paid to appear here, to appear higher, or to be described in a particular way. The tours featured at the top of the homepage were chosen for spread — one from Paris, one from the Loire, one at the château — and the reasoning is written out in full rather than implied. The cheapest product on this list is deliberately not among them, and neither is the cheapest Paris coach; the reasons are on their own cards.

Where the figures come from

Prices, ratings, review counts, inclusions and cancellation windows are the operators’ own, taken from their listings on Viator and GetYourGuide on 10 September 2026, and shown here as they stand. They move. Treat every price as indicative and confirm it on the booking page before you pay.

Facts about the château — opening hours, official ticket rates, dates, closures, the park and the gardens — come from the Domaine national de Chambord’s own published pages and are ours to get right. Where two of its pages disagree, the page tells you which one we followed.

Ratings are theirs, not ours

We publish no ratings of our own and we mark up none of the operators’ ratings as structured data. The star scores and review counts on this site are reproduced as visible text, labelled as the operator’s figures. The traveller reviews are paraphrases of real reviews left on those listings, never reproduced word for word and never invented.

Your rights

Nothing here removes any right you have against the operator or the platform. Read the cancellation terms on the booking page before you pay — the dated admission ticket is a final sale, and its card says so.
